Three Groups We Set Up For Most Often
Client Appreciation Days
A local business rents two bays for an afternoon and runs a handful of clients or top accounts through a short single-club block each, branded as their event rather than ours.
Company Outings
Before the annual scramble, a group of eight to sixteen comes through in pairs so everyone arrives at the course with clubs actually matched to a 6,000-foot ball flight instead of a set bought at sea level.
Charity Scrambles
Tournament committees occasionally auction off a group session as a prize package. We coordinate directly with the committee on scheduling and a discounted per-person rate.
Bachelor & Milestone Groups
Smaller and less formal, but the same setup — four to six friends, one address-baseline block each, usually a single club category to keep the whole visit under two hours.
What Changes From a Normal Block, and What Doesn't
| Detail | Standard Block | Group Day |
|---|---|---|
| Fitting method | Address baseline, two cameras | Identical, unchanged |
| Written spec per person | Yes | Yes |
| Group size | — | 4 to 16 people |
| Minimum notice | Standard booking | Two weeks |
| Studio availability | Open to walk-ins | Closed to outside bookings for the block |
| Per-person rate | Full single club block rate | 10–15% off, scaled by group size |
Why Group Fittings Still Use the Full Process
It would be faster to run a shortened, no-baseline version for groups, and we don't do that. Every participant still gets their address position marked with the two-camera setup before anything is compared to a demo, because the altitude adjustment that makes this studio useful for a solo client is exactly as useful when sixteen people book the same afternoon.
What we do trim is the conversation around each session — less time spent talking through the theory, more time spent measuring, so a group of that size clears the studio in an afternoon rather than two full days.
Booking a Date
Reach out at least two weeks ahead with your group size and preferred date range. We'll hold a block, confirm the per-person rate for your headcount, and send a short intake form so everyone shows up with the right shoe and swing information already on file.
